Details: I
will schedule this location to address the concerns. However, as we discussed,
there is more involved with properly restoring this location than simply
removing and replacing the HMAC. After taking another look at the curb and
surrounding roadway, the curb does not appear to be low enough to be
contributing to the elevation issue. The primary concern appears to be the
manhole itself sitting above the existing roadway grade. Simply placing HMAC
around the manhole would not correct the elevation difference and could
potentially create additional drainage or pavement concerns. Please see my
recommended repair below.
