    There is a cottonwood tree right over my fence in the drainage area. I asked that this tree be removed a few years ago because the roots were breaking up my fence and the city refused. Heavy dead branches have been falling from this tree into my yard and actually cracked two fence pickets. I had to pay someone to remove the branches and to replace the pickets.
