422 E 6th St, AustinBike lanes are needed on 6th St. It's really inconvenient to have to detour to go east/west in downtown, and to not be able to safely access businesses near 6th St. Detouring through downtown creates a lot of waiting at signals to turn left and discourages cycling downtown.

The other portions further west that have been removed were to accommodate new driveways into the development. Given that the 3rd Street Bikeway will have to be relocated to 4th as part of Project Connect, there are no plans for more bikeway barrier installations.
