    New bike lanes on San Jacinto and Trinity are much improved, but there's still a major problem: street parking. Parked vehicles between the street and bike lane severely impede drivers' visibility, which puts the safety of cyclists and pedestrians at risk. Plus, with all the parking garages around, is street parking really necessary?!

At its current design, flex posts are not possible due to lack of a bike lane buffer. However, department staff is seeking to find a way to address this.
