Bicycle Issues
2574 S Congress Ave, AustinScooters parked or thrown over in the bike lane should be illegal and easily tracked. There should be a designated parking spot for scooters anywhere there is a bike lane nearby. I saw someone crash their bike because they hit a scooter that was turned over in the bike lane. This person was seriously injured and it happens more often than it should.
CLOSED #25-00292217Referred to Other Department - Close SR. Thank you for bringing this serious safety concern to our attention. I have submitted a "Shared Micromobility" request in 311 in order to notify the e-scooter provider contact about this issue. If this persists, I would ask that you submit an additional request under this option in the 311 app.
