    3258 West Ave, Austin

Why the speed bumps on West Ave from 29th to 38th? I see there are also bike route markings on the street as well, but the new speed bumps make it a much less comfortable bike ride. I’ve commuted by bike on that street for years and never had a problem with speeding cars. Will probably end up riding some other route without speed bumps (which may unfortunately be less safe)

    CLOSED #25-00346882

Evaluated/Addressed Issue - Close SR. The speed bumps added on West between 38th and 34th are part of the North University-Heritage-Rosedale Neighborhood Bikeways. These bumps are designed for cyclists to use safely. The cutouts asked for in the request are used for pedestrians when there are not sidewalks on a street. West has a continuous sidewalk on the east side.

  • Bicycle Issues

    204 Nueces St, Austin

Like bikes parks in bike racks preventing people from using the racks that are there for people to lock their bikes to. Lime bikes and scooters shouldn’t be in racks, they don’t lock to the racks. Get this fixed! Thank you!

  • Bicycle Issues

    1715 San Jacinto Blvd, Austin

New bike lanes on San Jacinto and Trinity are much improved, but there's still a major problem: street parking. Parked vehicles between the street and bike lane severely impede drivers' visibility, which puts the safety of cyclists and pedestrians at risk. Plus, with all the parking garages around, is street parking really necessary?!
