Summary: Pond Flag 1520 Details: *Update May 4, 2026*:  I received an email response from the customer on April 24, 2026.  Customer identified the pond in question was the wet pond.  I had visited this pond just a day or two before her response.  I did not see excessive water or trash.  The pond levels have been low for a long time because of the drought so, seeing the ponds at a more normal level may be causing some concern for the residents.  I assured her that the pond was functioning normally and that the contractor comes three times per year to remove trash.  The contractor is scheduled to visit the pond before the end of May.  .

NOWPFPCS. Summary: Investigations Details: We have investigated the site and sent our documentation to our contractor The Other Ones Foundation. This site was added to their files and depending how they prioritize their work should be out there soon to resolve the issue.

Summary: Investigation Details: During investigation it was determined that Work order 26-219989 has been created and assigned to Ponds Crew 4 to repair the fence at this location. The homeless trash and debris is located on private property not blocking the channel flow line and not located inside the retention pond, the property owner is responsible for maintenance.

The property owner is responsible for maintenance. The trash and debris are not located on Austin Watershed Department property and are not blocking the flowline of the channel. .
