Class: SR Created By: Log Type: VEG_MAINTENANCE Summary: Pond Flag 580 Details There are two ponds located near 12000 Gatling Gun Lane:  Pond Flag 580 is located on the south side of Gatling Gun Lane and Pond Flag 352 is located on the north side.  I tried to call the number listed in the service request; however, it said that it was disconnected and no longer in service.  I sent an email to the customer and will update when I receive a response.    Note:  Pond Flag 580 was maintained on September 1, 2025.  Photos uploaded by the contractor indicated the work was complete; however, an inspection might be required in order to get a more  comprehensive assessment.  Pond Flag 354 was last maintained in June.  It is maintained four times per year and is on the schedule next for October.     Update 9/9/25:  Customer received my email and called me back letting me know it's just the southern most portion of Pond Flag 580 that was missed.  I am going tomorrow to document the deficiency in the contractor's work and will then ask them to go back to complete the work.  This customer opened a second service request that addresses the same issue so I will close this service request and update the other one after I have visited the pond and contacted the contractor. .

No Work Planned - No Problem Found - Close SR. Class: SR Created By: Log Type: NO_PROBLEMFOUND Summary: Site visit to compliant WP. Contacting owner to recommend the establishment of educational signage. Details As has been the reported case in the past there is the presence of algae on the surface of this WP SCM.  It is neither thick nor contingent, and at this point is not hurting the overall health of the pond.  Though excessive algae can be detrimental, a balanced presence is crucial for overall health.  Also, given the current time of year, it is not uncommon for algae levels to increase somewhat.  Though a fountain or bubbler could be beneficial to abating the acceleration of algae growth, this pond was not designed to have one, per the approved construction plans.   Many citizens visit and/or walk around this pond on a daily basis, so we have decided it would be a good candidate at which to establish educational signage explaining its intent and natural, biological processes.  A link providing the method of acquisition and construction of the educational placard will be provided to the owner of record and/or the owner's maintenance contractor.
