93 E Slaughter LnNew lane pattern has caused me an accident as other drivers from left turn lane assume they can go straight as the left lane to go straight cuts a bit into left turn lane. On September 25 i witnessed another accident from other side of road which caused driver to jam car in front of me. Similar to what happened to me 3 weeks prior. Needs better markings as prior to my accident to which i was not at fault on September 3rd I had almost gotten hit 4 times.

1321 W Slaughter LnThe lane markings for turning left off of Bilbrook onto Slaughter create too sharp of a turn. Most drivers in the rightmost lane cut this corner and end up in the left lane. This is extremely dangerous. While drivers should obey lane markings (and I do) this is impossible to enforce. I highly recommend adjusting the radius of this curve to better match how most drivers drive in order to prevent any collisions.

While we cannot control driver behavior, the existing lane markings are intended to provide clear guidance and, when followed, help reduce the potential for conflicts and accidents. At this time, the lane markings will remain as currently installed. However, there is a traffic camera at this intersection, and we will continue to monitor traffic conditions.

Steven informed me that a citizen stopped him and asked about adding additional speed cushion on Bailey Ln. Steven placed this request on behalf of the citizen. There is no contact information for the citizen, so we are not able to contact them directly. I informed Steven that if he makes contact with that citizen again, have them place the request directly with 311. No further action required at this time.
