We walked along Hilldale & Northdale to assess for any apparent flood damage and check on the status of storm inlets and drains in the area. It was not clear which homes may have flooded during the 5/28-29/25 storms. Water lines and debris lines were not distinguishable on 6/4. We spoke to 3 residents/homeowners who did not report flooding and left fliers with contact information at multiple homes. The curb inlets appeared clear. However, we observed significant vegetation and debris within the channel adjacent to 5508-5610 Northdale Rd and in the drainage easement downstream of the channel. We were unable to locate headwalls at the upstream and downstream ends of the channel. Maintenance and/or clearing of channel and drainage easement may be needed.

Future Work Scheduled - Close SR. Class: SR Created By: Log Type: WO_CREATED Summary: Details Marie Lancaster & Madison Cooper visited this site on 6/4/2025. Observed clogged inlets in front of home. Curb inlet #79693 appears full of sediment and debris. Curb inlet #79694 is completely filled with sediment, which is overflowing into the gutter area in front of it. There is also a car parked in front of curb inlet #79694 which appears to be abandoned. The sediment is built up around the car's tires. The car should be moved to fully clear the inlet. 311 services requests were made for clearing both curb inlets (request numbers: 25-00188079 & 25-00188096). Environmental Inspector from DSD met us on site and discussed recent sediment control difficulties from neighboring construction site. The Inspector will have the construction contractor clear as much sediment from the inlet as possible until the abandoned car is moved. WPD will work to get the abandoned car moved and fully clear out both inlets.
