Inspection Performed - Close SR. Received a 311 complaint for amplified music at Pin's Mechanical at 4323 S. Congress. Went to venue, which was open and operating with less than a dozen patrons inside. Noted ambient indoor music which was lower than limits set by Texas Ordinance or City Code. Spoke to management and learned the venue hosted a concert earlier in the evening, which concluded at midnight. I educated staff regarding permitting and sound ordinance parameters, generally. Will follow up with staff next weekend and escalate venue if warranted. close SR.

Sound/Hour Within Permitted Limit - Close SR. Received complaint for Far Out Lounge at 8504 S. Congress. Complaint was received at 12:24 am and I arrived at the location at approximately 12:50 am. When I arrived I noted the business was closed and locked. All employees were gone and no amplified sound was noted in the area. Close SR.

Investigate Venue.

Inspection Performed - Close SR. Received 311 complaint for heavy bass/amplified music for 601 Rio Grande. Went to location and observed 601 Rio Grande is a closed entertainment location on the northeast corner of Rio Grande and 6th. An inspection of the surrounding area indicated heavily amplified bass music from a nearby venue on the west side of 6th (The Betty). took relevant sound measurements of outdoor amplified music at this location and observed it to be within limits. spoke to management and staff at the front door and advised them, the the extent they were able, to keep the front doors closed in an effort to contain sound indoors. Management indicated they would comply, code education was provided regarding cutoff and sound limits. Close SR.

Inspection Performed - Close SR. INVESTIGATED LUNA FOR OUTDOOR MUSIC VIOLATIONS. LOCATION WAS WITHIN DECIBEL RANGE. MANAGER WAS PRESENT DURING THE READINGS. NO VIOLATIONS WERE OBSERVED AT THE TIME OF INVESTIGATION. PERFORMED AN INVESTIGATION 3 HOURS EARLIER AND WAS ALSO COMPLAINT.

Inspection Performed - Close SR. INVESTIGATED CANTINA 512 FOR OUTDOOR MUSIC VIOLATIONS. LOCATION WAS WITHIN DECIBEL RANGE. ALSO PERFORMED PROACTIVE VISITS ON LUCILLES, RAINEY HOUSE, HALF STEP, AGUSTIN, PARLOR ROOM, CRAZY CONCHAZ, VICTORY LAP, AND BUGALOW. ALL LOCATIONS WERE REMINDED OF CUTOFF TIMES.

Inspection Performed - Close SR. INVESTIGATED THE WILLOW BAR, GREEN SOCIAL, AND DOGWOOD FOR OUTDOOR MUSIC VIOLATIONS.ALL BARS WERE COMPLIANT. AFTER FURTHER INVESTIGATION IT WAS FOUND THAT WILLOW BAR HAD A BAR EARLIER IN WHICH HAD ENDED. WENT OVER EXPECTATIONS WITH THE WILLOW BAR AND ENSURED THEY WERE WITHIN LIMITS. . NO VIOLATIONS WERE OBSERVED UPON ARRIVAL AND DURING THE INSPECTION.

Sound/Hour Within Permitted Limit - Close SR. Received 311 complaint for loud amplified outdoor music at this location. Went to venue, conducted on-site inspection, took sound measurements from approved location and made contact with management inside the bar. Noted outdoor band playing heavy metal music, which was loud. However a repeated measurement of sound levels reflected that decibel limits were at their permitted maximums, per the permit valid and on file with the city. Management educated on cutoff times and maximum sound levels.
