Inspection Performed - Close SR. Received complaint for loud outdoor music at 120 W 5th (Luna Rooftop). Conducted inspection and obtained sound levels using standalone city-issued and calibrated sound meter. Complainant provided a photograph in the body of the complaint indicating an observed sound reading of 74 dB. This reading is substantially lower than the threshold established by the City of Austin within the approved Outdoor Music Venue permit. Unclear as to what the attachment is intended to establish. Complainant refused contact so no follow up conducted and this service request will be closed with no further action. At the time of my inspection, Luna was closed and locked. Traffic noise only. CLOSE SR.

Inspection Performed - Close SR. Received 311 complaint for loud amplified music at Naya, (506 West). Went to location, conducted inspection, took sound readings using city issued equipment and spoke to the venue owner. No outdoor music observed and the exterior patio was empty. Venue found to compliant with sound ordinances at the time of inspection. Close SR.

WENT AROUND THE BAR AND WAS UNABLE TO OBTAIN MEASURABLE SOUND THAT WOULD INDICATE A VIOLATION. NO SOUND VIOLATIONS WERE OBSERVED. WENT OVER EXPECTATIONS WITH MANAGEMENT. SOUND COMPLAINT CAME IN THROUGH 311.
