    Traffic control / lane closure, merge left/arrow left board needs to be moved further west of where it is now. Causing traffic issues because the board is placed where the lane ends. Earlier notice to merge left needs to be given. Almost got into a car accident today because of this.

The message board is set at the designated location per plan. The work and permit are active and all traffic control are set per plan. After observing vehicles and traffic flow, it looks to be a speed issue. Most vehicles going east bound on Slaughter are well above the speed limit. Having APD monitor this location would make a difference.
