There was a landscaping company in the area working and using water from a water hose that was stretched crossing the street. They were in the middle of wrapping up all hoses, etc. when I arrived. No standing water was observed. No action needed. Service request is now closed.

I investigated this complaint and found the curb and gutters in front of the property owners' home was clear at the time of my inspection. However, the silt fencing that is installed in the gutter on Havenwood Dr. at Starline Dr. has six plus sandbags laying in the mouth of the gutter on top of the silt fence. This may be what is preventing proper drainage of storm waters into the gutter. I drove around the worksite to see if I could have one of the construction workers remove the additional sandbags but was unable to locate anyone.

We have noted the nuisance ponding at this address and will add it to our tracking systems. This will provide us vital information when we begin to analyze alternatives in this area, which is not anticipated to be initiated for several years. There are currently approximately 6,000 unique ponding water reports in the City of Austin. The city prioritizes projects to address these localized ponding issues based on the severity and the number of instances in any given area. Unfortunately, the city cannot address this location at this time. Street and Bridge Operations (SBO) personnel will routinely monitor and inspect Austin's street network to ensure that they are safe for vehicular usage.
