I barely made it to the school parking lot, about a 100 yards. I am not excusing my driving (I felt I had to make room for a truck that wasn’t fitting in their lane), but the median’s curb is in horrible condition if it ripped my tires to nothing in 2 seconds. Lots of bikers on that street, including young kids.     Our street (Hancock Drive near Balcones Drive) was recently re-paved and the crew that did it messed up the curb in front of our house. They spread asphalt over part of the concrete ONLY in front of our house and not in front of any other house on the street. I questioned them about it before leaving and they had no answer. We’d like to get this fixed and it does not look good for curb appeal.

    Several years ago, the city repaired a leak in the street outside our house. In doing so, they had to tear up our driveway apron. They fixed it temporarily (we thought) with asphalt instead of concrete. After several weeks we notified the city, but nothing ever came of it. Now we've put crushed stone on our driveway, but because the apron is virtually non-existent and not level, the stone is constantly falling into the street. Is there any way we can get this fixed?
