I spoke with the contractor last week who stated they would be out soon to mow the buffer. However, the problem with the drainage still needs to be addressed by Public Works Transportation (Sidewalk group).

Class: SR Created By: MORGANJ Log Type: VEG_MAINTENANCE Summary: Pond Flag #354 Details POND FLAG #354.00:This pond was added to our Wildflower Meadow Program in 2018 and receives three (3) mows per year: February, August, and November. Ponds in the Wildflower Meadow Program are not maintained between February and August to allow for the wildflowers to bloom and go to seed. This pond received maintenance on February 8, 2024. It will be maintained again in August. I will do a field visit to this pond in the next month to determine if it needs to be reseeded with wildflower seed again in the Fall.

Class: SR Created By: MORGANJ Log Type: VEG_MAINTENANCE Summary: Pond Flag #615 Details Pond Flag #615:This pond was last maintained on February 7, 2024 which was only three months ago. It was added to our Wildflower Meadow program and was seeded with wildflowers in February. I will be going out to inspect all the ponds which were seeded in February next week to see how the seeds took and if there are wildflowers. If there are not a significant amount of wildflowers present, we may schedule an additional mow for the summer. However, in the future, this pond will be re-seeded in October and only mowed twice per year: February and August-- to allow for the wildflowers to bloom and go to seed.
