Future Work Scheduled - Close SR. Summary: Phone conversation with citizen followed by site visit Details: Another concern came in from a citizen regarding the pond.  This time contact information was included so I called Jeff Macy (512-674-5654) to discuss his concern in detail followed by my site visit.  Overall the pond looks good, but the designed Main Pool Water Surface Elevation (476.0) definitely appears much higher than it should be. The flowline of the 54" RCP inflow at the south end is designed at 476.5, so the entire pipe should normally be visible, but only the top of pipe can be seen due to the current water level.   The assumption here is that the submerged inverted 6" PVC drain pipe at the north end leading to the concrete flood control outlet box is clogged with sediment, vegetation, or other debris.  This needs to be cleared.  Currently, only a trickle is draining into the outlet box.   I will communicate these findings and generate a maintenance work order for the pond crew servicing this area so that they can address the inverted, clogged 6" PVC pipe.

This is for overgrown vegetation and possible functionality issues. I corresponded with the citizen via email this morning to confirm the pond would be mowed this month. The Pond Maintenance team believes they will be out there by the end of this week.  This pond will also be removed from the wild flower meadow program to receive more frequent mows. .

Summary: Work Order Created Details: I assessed the site on August 4, 2026, and observed that pond was very overgrown throughout both basins.  I met onsite on August 5, 2026, with the Pond Crew Supervisor and Green Infrastructure Crew Supervisor to go over the maintenance needed.  Maintenance work order 26-223363 was created, and the work will be scheduled.  The citizen was contacted and updated on the response to the complaint. .
