Hello Erica, the Austin Transportation and Public Works Department (TPW) has received your comments regarding the intersection of Escarpment Blvd. and Abilene Tr. TPW understands your concerns and we try to provide all road users a safe way to cross a roadway. Since Escarpment Blvd. is a four-lane divided road with a good amount of traffic there needs to be additional protection then just paint on the ground. There are things we can do with flex posts, but I believe its going to take safety more items which could take a while. TPW can start studying the area with our Traffic Signal Division.
