- Description
- Add a turning lane from street into HEB on going north on S. Pleasant Valley. There was previously a turning lane to get in to the parking lot. Now the lane wa removed making it incredibly difficult to enter the shopping center. Drivers are entering the parking lot at another entrance by disregarding the double yellow lanes. This is an entrapment situation because most don't realize they're not supposed to cross the double lines. It feels like the city made the situation much worse than before.

Field Inspection Conducted - Close SR. Hello Michael, the Austin Transportation and Public Works Department (TPW) has received your comments regarding the HEB on S. Pleasant Valley Rd. This is a project from Capital Metro not the City of Austin. Once the construction is over the markings and turn lanes should be back in place. You are also allowed to cross the double yellow centerlines to enter the driveways for HEB. TPW will also be monitoring the construction via our Right-of-Way team with inspections. Please feel free to reach out to 311 if things get worse and I can send a team out there to review. Thank you and have a good day,.
