Speed Management

Site Inspection Completed - Close SR. 5/7/24 - Attempted to reach requestor, left contact info on voicemail. 5/9/24 - Talked with Cody and explained to him our Speed Management Program process for speed mitigation devices. The speed study cycle for April 1st, 2024 is closed and advise him to call back on October 1st, 2024 when the next speed study cycle opens. I told him to contact Austin Police Department District Representative for speed enforcement. Cody would like to have Chestnut Ridge Road be put on our Dynamic Speed Display Device (DSDD) list. I informed him that DSDDs are temporary signs and will be install approximately 6 weeks before being rotated to other City of Austin street. Emailed the Speed Management manager to put Chestnut Ridge Road on the DSDD list. No further action required at this time.
