- Description
- West/East CRESTLAND Drive is a major cut through in the Highland neigborhood. It serves as one of the only roads that intersects with N Lamar and provides smooth access to both 183 and I-35 . There are no sidewalks on the street and many people walk along it to get to school or to bus stops located on the west part of the street. I live on the east side of Crestland Drive where it "T's" into Eastcrest. There are only 20 or so houses on this part of the street yet hundreds upon hundreds of cars use the street daily. The streets in the neighborhood that run parallel to Crestland Drive all at least have sidewalks yet only get a fraction of the traffic. The eastern part of Crestland Drive is in desperate need of sidewalks to help provide a safe environment for the people that live on this street and people who walk along it. It is likely that the problem may get worse when the nearby Crestview Rail Station opens because of the increased traffic and density. Please review this request.
