Description: Hello, Hope all is well. I have been thinking about this fora while and with mixed emotions would like to submit the request. I am a big supporter of our Fire and EMS, and the folks at the EMS Station are always so friendly when I drive by. However, our street does not have sidewalks and I feel it is not safe for the fire trucks and ambulances to travel down Miles Avenue. We have many pedestrians and people walking with pets and baby strollers, with no sidewalks, and the street gets especially narrow when walking around cars that are parking on the street. Is it possible for fire trucks and ambulances to only use Manchaca Road when accessing the EMS Station? I understand if there is an emergency that makes traveling down Miles Avenue necessary, but most times I encounter a fire truck or ambulance on Miles Avenue, they are returning to the station. I would like to submit this anonymously, and will call with the confirmationnumber to check on the status in a weekor so. Again, I am a big supporter of them and hate to raise this concern, but feel it is the safest thing to do. Thanks so much, have a good week.
