- The speed limit on Rutland Dr is 35 mph, which is fine. The Probem is between Mountain Quail and Parkfield and beyond, there is highly excessive speeding. This occurs in both directions. We call it Rutland Raceway, and not in a humorous spirit. People are drag racing on this street in excess of 60mph, and this happens all hours of the day. Children live on this street and walk up and down it. This is very dangerous, and I would like to see speed bumps put on this street from the dog leg all the way to N. Lamar. Some radar patrol would also be helpful. Perhaps if some citations were issued, the word would get around this is not a good street to race on. Thank for your kind attantion to this matter.
