Details
Investigated location and found the crash history over the past five years. There are14 CR-3 crashes (those with crash reports) and seven non-CR-3 crashes. Of the 14 CR-3 crashes, two of them involved a vehicle crashing into the backyard fences of the homes on Lakehurst Drive. One of them involved a vehicle that attempted to turn left from Branchwood onto William Cannon and caused an eastbound driver to swerve, jump the curb, and strike the fences. The other one involved a stolen vehicle where the driver lost control, struck the fences, then fled the scene. This level of crash history does not indicate a need for guardrail at this location. No guardrail is currently planned to be installed at this location.
