*Pond Flag 147.1:*August 1st is less than a week away. I have asked the contractors to prioritize this pond for their August schedule. There are over 200 ponds in the Wildflower Meadow Program which haven't been maintained since February or earlier. With the extra rain we've had this Spring and Summer, there has been a lot of vegetation growth in these and all the ponds the Watershed Protection Department maintains. The contractor is still working on the maintenance schedule for July; however, they will maintain the pond at Oak Springs as soon as they possibly can.
