Evaluated/Addressed Issue - Close SR. Thank you for contacting the City of Austin with your concerns about adding protection to the bike lanes along Lakeline Boulevard at W Parmer Lane. Neenah Drive currently provides buffered bike lanes and shared use path segments between Parmer Lane and Pearson Ranch Road. Additional protection can be added to this segment of Neenah Drive in the existing buffers. At this time, there is no funding identified to make this upgrade. TPW will place this segment of Neenah Drive on a project request list for further evaluation when funding resources become available. Further intersection safety work at Parmer Lane and Lakeline Boulevard will require additional capital investment. Currently, the Transportation and Public Works Department (TPW) is current working on a regional mobility project along Lakeline Boulevard west of Parmer Lane.
