Drainage Pond Maintenance

Future Work Scheduled - Close SR. Class: SRCreated By: Log Type: WO_CREATEDSummary: SCMs have numerous issues - issuing NOVs after digitizingDetailsI visited the site on 3/12/2025 in response to a CSR. No return call or email information was noted on the CSR, so I did not speak to the complainant. The CSR listed broken or missing cleanout caps. At the site, I noted that none of the SCMs were digitized in our GIS system. I observed what appear to be three stormwater detention ponds, one being a water quality pond and two apparently flood detention, though I will confirm this once information is digitized.Numerous issues were observed, including trash in the inlet of one detention pond, sediment in the splitter and the inlet of the detention pond, channeling and rilling erosional features in the basin and on the berms, missing and broken caps for cleanouts in the water quality pond, some sand slumpage, large wood vegetation in the inlets and outlets and a partially blocked outlet. The SCMs were recently the subject of debate as to whose responsibility they are to maintain. Jarrett Kramer with WPD PIDS informed me that it was determined that they were private commercial responsibility and had been given to Sarah Lindemann to digitize. Sarah informed me of the digitizing on March 21, 2025. Therefore, I am able to proceed with issuing NOVs to the landowner and closing out this CSR. JNB.
