Class: WORKORDER Created By: Log Type: NO_ISSUE Summary: Contacted citizen and discussed the elements of adding electrical service for requested lighting Details The request is to add lighting to the basketball court area, as of right now there are no facilities on site so no electrical, plumbing, etc. the only fixture is a single solar powered pole light in the parking area. To get electrical circuits to the basketball area would need a new meter service installed, new transformers on the utility end with a wired service, trenching to the area, and permitting with the city and utility company all of which would go through city planning and development. I will send the concerns up to supervisor to see if the possibility to add high lumen solar pole lights is in the budget as an alternative solution to provide lighting to the area.
