Details On March 14, 2025, I visited the site with the complaint of a dead animal in the stormwater detention pond. I did not observe either by sight or smell any indication of a dead animal, though the SCM contained a lot of high grass that obscured view of the basin floor. The site is in a new development with a lot of siltation occurring from the newer developing areas. There is sedimentation in the splitter box, sediment (and trash) blocking the inlets, one area of wall separation that will require sealant, and erosion along the access ramp. Vegetation will have to be cut as well, as it contains a few small trees and, in general, obscures basin floor viewing in the sedimentation portion of the water quality SCM and most of the flood detention SCM.
