Drainage Pond Maintenance

Class: SR Created By: Log Type: VEG_MAINTENANCE Summary: Pond Flags 495, 496, 524, 525, and 526 Details *Pond Flags 495 and 496* are on the Vegetation Maintenance Program and are maintained by our contractor twice per year.  These two ponds are also on our Wildflower Meadow Program, which means they are maintained every February and August.  This allows the wildflowers to grow, bloom and go to seed so that more wildflowers will bloom again the following year.   These two ponds were last maintained on February 7, 2025 are on the maintenance list for August.     *Pond Flags 524, 525, and 526* are known as the Dahlgreen Vegetative Filter Strips, which are maintained by our in-house Green Infrastructure  crews.  According to the supervisor of this crew these vegetative filter strips are maintained three to four times per year and were maintained on May 1, 2025.  The supervisor said they would return for maintenance in July.
