View Obstruction and Fencing at Intersection

Field Inspection Conducted - Close SR. I sent the below email on August 27, 2025. - Stephen Barkley Good afternoon Mary Thank you for contacting the City of Austin. My name is Stephen Barkley and I'm with the Austin Transportation and Public Works Department I am following up on a voicemail I left for you regarding your 311-service request regarding a view obstruction at the intersection on Elm Forest Road and Matthews Lane. A view obstruction notification letter was mailed to the resident/property owner located at 1201 Matthews Lane on August 27, 2025. They will have 10 days after receiving the letter to abate the obstruction. After the allotted time has passed the intersection will be re-inspected, and if the view obstruction has not been abated, the view obstruction violation will be forwarded to the appropriate City Department for further action.
