Pedestrian islands with added green space are constructed to improve the aesthetics and provide any additional green space possible. City crews are responsible for maintaining greenspace in pedestrian islands. If you find that maintenance is not occurring frequently enough, you are welcome to submit a "Obstruction in ROW" request in the 311 app. For type of obstruction, select "Other" and type "vegetation."
