Traffic Signal - Maintenance

Issue Has Been Resolved - Close SR. The City has added emergency vehicle preemption at this intersection to help first responders get to emergencies more quickly and safely. A preemption occurred at the signal which interrupted normal signal progression to help first responders arrive at emergencies. After an emergency vehicle passes through, the traffic signal may take a few minutes to return to its normal timing, which could cause a delay for some drivers. We understand this may be an inconvenience at times, but it helps ensure emergency crews can respond as quickly as possible. The City will continue to monitor the intersection and look for ways to reduce delays while keeping emergency response a top priority. I monitored intersection timings and live camera feed and the signal transitioned into normal operation and is running per plan.
