Issue Has Been Resolved - Close SR. Thanks for your service request - you are correct in your observation. The delay is because drivers are not going to be given a green at the other side of the interchange. In the past, we have seen many crashes once vehicles proceed under the bridge and experience a red light on the other side. As a result, we only allow vehicles to proceed under the bridge when we can safely anticipate a green light exiting on the other side.
