- Parks dept planted large new trees between the ball field and the trail. They look very dry even though there are sprinkler systems. Can you check to be sure the sprinklers are working and are putting out enough water? With trees this large, and the exceptionally hot and dry weather, they may need more water than typical. The trees are on both sides of the new sidewalk that was put in for the detour when the trail was being repaired
