- This live oak has been in our yard for at least 20 years. The home behind us is for sale. Last Wednesday afternoon, someone trimmed the live oak on the other side of the fence, but did a poor job. They left wounds on major branches, did not paint, and did not use under cuts, stripping off the bark. They removed the bulk of the tree on their side.
