Traffic Signal - Modification

Issue Has Been Resolved - Close SR. Spoke with the community member and they let me know of what was currently going on at the intersection and the preference that the crossing comes up after Houston St goes. I mentioned over the phone that City of Austin standard is that the crossing comes up before the adjacent street goes as this is the safest movement for all. I mentioned over the phone that a previous program implementation had made the pedestrian crossing come after the Houston St light. I worked with the signal engineer to return the programming to the standard method with the crossing coming up before Houston St. Programming at the signal ensures that the crossing comes up for 7 seconds and then the adjacent street gets to go. This gives the pedestrian the head start in crossing the intersection without worrying about conflicting with vehicles. Signal is now working as intended, thanks.
