Traffic Signal - Modification

Issue Has Been Resolved - Close SR. The service request that was reported mentioned vehicle speeding non-compliance during Lamar Middle School student drop off/pick up period. I reached out to Safe Routes to School, Vision Zero, Austin Police Department, and AISD Police Department to make them aware of the speeding concern. Safe Routes to School rep mentioned that they would analyze the intersection to see if they need to add crossing guards at the intersection but since the school year is nearing the end, they wouldn't be able to add the guards until next school year. I reached out to Austin Police Department and AISD Police Department and asked if they could send a patrol to the intersection for speeding enforcement. I reached out to Transportation Engineering and Vision Zero and requested they analyze the intersection for speeding and add speed reduction devices where necessary. Additionally, I looked at intersection timings and live camera feed of the intersection and made sure that vehicle detection is functioning appropriately and that the signal is operating.
