- Drainage easement is clogged again with a large pool (pond!) of water standing and NOT draining. City mowers came out today to mow the easement but could not mow most of it due to all of the standing water. Either the grate needs to be adjusted so it doesn’t clog with grass so easily, or the mowers need to cut the grass more frequently or mulch it better so 4-5 foot pieces don’t clog the drain. Advance notice - mosquito infestation!!!

Details: *Pond Flag 156: *On May 5, 2026 the field operations crew went and unclogged this same drain. There seems to be a malfunction in the drain system that needs to be addressed. I requested that the field operations crews return to unclog the drain and to see if there wasn't something we could do to prevent it from happening again. Will update when I have heard back from field operations. I updated the maintenance schedule for this pond from the typical 4x/annually to 6x/annually. Starting in 2027, this pond will be maintained in the following months: January, March, April, May, June, and October. Juliet 6/18/26
Update 6/20/26: I emailed the field operations crews and requested they unclog the drains. .
