Drainage Pond Maintenance

Summary: Pond Flag 10 Details: *Update:  *Garrett Powell, with the ponds maintenance crews, and I visited the pond this morning 7/22/26.  It is holding water but, Garrett did not think it was impairing the functioning of the pond.  There is fenced area with a cottonwood tree that once had a silt screen and sand/gravel to filter the water that was fed by underground pipes into the grated overflow area to the south.  The silt screen has deteriorated and some silt has infiltrated the fenced area, which may be impacting the draining of the pond.  However, it should not be impairing the overall functioning of the pond.  Garrett said he would create a work order for the silt screen to be repaired in the future; however, it was not a high priority.   .
