- Austin: High-speed motorized bikes are becoming a serious safety hazard on the Ann and Roy Butler Trail. I’ve seen bikes traveling at what appears to be 40+ mph on a shared trail used by walkers, runners, families, children, dogs, and cyclists. The trail speed limit is 10 mph. Please increase enforcement, clarify vehicle rules, and address high-powered motorized bikes before someone is seriously injured.

Evaluated/Addressed Issue - Close SR. The City of Austin is currently working on updating its code to better regulate these types of vehicles to prevent this type of behavior. This is an enforcement issue. Please contact APD.
