Issue Has Been Resolved - Close SR. Conducted second PM Peak site visit for both Pleasant Valley & Nuckols Crossing as well as Pleasant Valley & William Cannon. Construction has southbound down to one lane 24/7. Construction plans already implemented for both intersections but have now been adjusted to run the PM peak plan earlier (3:15PM) which runs until 7:00PM. Set Minimum Green times for the southbound left and through movements and noticed improvement.
Reach out to Right-of-Way Management regarding work hours outside of the work zone/water-filled barriers. Contractor is frequently flagging/stopping southbound traffic for crossing dump trucks backing in/out during PM Peak hours. Also noted that Transit Signal Priority (TSP, CapMetro Buses) occasionally cutting southbound splits to sub-20 second splits.
Will continue to monitor both intersections for timing adjustments as needed. Will also review suspending TSP with consulting engineer.
