Issue Has Been Resolved - Close SR. Monitored intersection historical timing and saw that for the timing reported there was an emergency vehicle preemption that held the green time for Koenig Ln. The signal has emergency vehicle preemption at this intersection to help first responders get to emergencies more quickly and safely. After an emergency vehicle passes through, the traffic signal may take a few minutes to return to its normal timing, which could cause a delay for some drivers. We understand this may be an inconvenience at times, but it helps ensure emergency crews can respond as quickly as possible. The City will continue to monitor the intersection and look for ways to reduce delays while keeping emergency response a top priority.
