- The three separate speed bumps all along Oakmont Blvd do not slow down most traffic. Medium to larger vehicles with a wider gap between tires often travel way too fast and simply drive over the middle speed bump without it touching any tires or affecting them. If it were one solid speed bump it would help a lot more in getting people to slow down properly. This happens most often with 4-6pm afternoon rush hour traffic cutting through the neighborhood to avoid Mopac traffic.
