Walkways are not maintained by the City of Austin because they are only used for personal egress and ingress. If the landowner chooses to address the concern, a Right-of-Way Excavation Permit is required, which requires City-licensed, bonded contractors. We cannot recommend a contractor; however, please keep in mind that the following list includes all City-approved contractors, not just concrete contractors (I have noticed that many of them have concrete in their name, but some others may also perform concrete flatwork projects.)
