Field Inspection Conducted - Close SR. Austin Transportation and Public Works Department has looked at this intersection. There is a geometric issue with the railroad crossing. Drivers are too far away due to the length of the intersection where vehicles can see each other to stop and move forward accordingly. Trail users should yield to the northbound and southbound vehicles.
