CLOSED #25-00410818Referred to Other Agency - Close SR. Class: SR Created By: Log Type: REF_EXTERNAL Summary: Investigation Response Details The City was contacted on November 12, 2025 about damage to the ponds caused by dirt bikes. On November 18, 2025 the pond crew removed exposed erosion matting from the top of the pond berms. On November 25, 2025 representatives from Austin Watershed Protection met with the Homeowner Association president to discuss the issue of dirt bikes being ridden in the ponds. Watershed Protection told the president they could install fencing at their own cost. Watershed Protection can put up additional signs. The Homeowner's Association owns the property and is responsible for what happens on it. Watershed Protection spoke to a boy who rode to the pond on his dirt bike and informed him why he could not ride in the ponds and he said he would tell the other boys he rides with. On December 8, 2025, I contacted the Austin Police Department District Representative, Officer Miguel Almeida, and informed him of the issue. I told him that several neighbors have called the police, but the police have not responded. I emailed him the address given in this service request. He is also going to contact the Homeowner's Association President. .
