Class: SR Created By: Log Type: NO_PROBLEMFOUND Summary: Investigation Details I investigated this complaint and could not find any serious erosion issues in the area. The photo that was provided with her complaint shows what appears to be some kind of foot bridge that crosses over one of the creek's channels. This bridge was not installed by the City of Austin and should probably be removed before it collapses any further causing a possible backup in the creek. This is a very woody area, so any fallen trees or tree limbs would easily cause an issue at the foot bridge if not removed. I called and left a voicemail for the citizen, Katie Hopkins to return my call at her earliest convenience. No action needed at this time from Watershed Protection. Service request is now closed.

Referred to Internal Workgroup - Close SR. 11/09/2023 update: Our team has assessed the situation at 11816 Prairie Hen. The site has been restored to be an active erosion site in our data base. The site had mistakenly been designated as "repaired". An erosion repair project is not planned at this time due to a backlog of higher priority erosion projects. The site will be monitored for the progression of the erosion concern. The property owner can proceed with replacing his fence, no closer to the stream than the drainage easement line. Thanks. I went out to investigate and the lot at 1916 E 12st has it parking lot being washed out when it rains and the citizen at 1212 Poquito st, claims the runoff is making the street unsafe for bicycles and pedestrians to walk. I added pictures to the attachment. Citizen would like a call about this concern to see if they are violating codes.
