Class: SR Created By: Log Type: VEG_MAINTENANCE Summary: Pond Flag 187 Details *Pond Flag 187:  *This pond is maintained four times per year and was last maintained on June 10, 2025.  It is on the schedule for maintenance again in September.  Watershed provides vegetation maintenance that pertains to the functionality of the pond and the conveyance of water, not for any aesthetic purposes.  As this pond is located on property owned by the Home Owner's Association, Watershed is not responsible for any vegetation maintenance that goes beyond what is required for the function of the pond.  The Home Owner's Association may perform any additional maintenance at their own expense. .

Class: SR Created By: Log Type: VEG_MAINTENANCE Summary: Buffer Flag 191 Details Updated*:  *This pond  is maintained six times annually and was last maintained on May  3, 2025.  It is on the schedule for maintenance in July.  The buffer around this pond was on a maintenance a monthly schedule; however, the contractors before and after photos indicated that the Home Owners Association was maintaining this buffer so it was removed from the Vegetation Control Program in January.  An inspection will be conducted to determine the condition of the buffer and the contractor will be sent to mow it if needed. .

Class: SR Created By: Log Type: WO_CREATED Summary: Investigation Details Work order number 25-195874 has been created for Watershed Protection Operations crews to maintain the channel area leading into the pond. Watershed does not treat for mosquitoes, but this could help reduce them. During my investigation, I did see natural predators of mosquitoes in the pond such as damselflies. An attempt was made to contact the citizen, and their voicemail inbox is full.

Class: SR Created By: Log Type: VEG_MAINTENANCE Summary: Pond Flag 209 Details *Pond Flag 209:  *This pond is on the Wildflower Meadow Program and is maintained three times per year: February, August and November.  Maintenance does not occur between March and July to allow the wildflowers to grow, bloom and go to seed for more wildflowers the following year.  This pond will be maintained in August.  An inspector will look at the pond to see if all the wildflowers have gone to seed so can be maintained sooner in July.  .

Class: SR Created By: Log Type: NO_PROBLEMFOUND Summary: Investigation Response Details This is for a CIP project that replaced the liner in a city-maintained wet pond.  There is temporary irrigation to re-establish vegetation.  The CIP construction inspector spoke to the contractor about the complaint.  The contractor confirmed that the sprinkler heads are pointing in the right direction.  On windy days the water may spray in other directions.  The water is from the City's fire hydrant and therefore potable water. I contacted the citizen and left a message. .
