The customer was unsure if he had scheduled an inspection and wanted me to look it up I looked up the permit number and found that there was still a fee associated with the permit I explained to the customer that in order to call for an inspection he needed to pay the fee the customer said that he'd have the GC contact us to pay the permit no additional action is required.

I was unable to determine whether or not a payment was made based on the permit information that was in the case I left a voicemail message for the customer letting them know that I gave him our contact information so he could contact us directly at 512-978-4000 to update and give us more information.

Contacted - Provided Information - Close SR. The customer requested that an inspector come out to determine whether a portion of her condo was structurally unsound. I explained the role of our building inspectors and clarified that if she had concerns about structural integrity, she would need to hire her own engineering firm to make that determination. She said a code officer had come out but told her he could not issue code violations for a structurally unsound condo and that residential inspections could come out and make that assessment. I reassured her that I would follow up with the officer for clarification and have him reach out to her directly. I then contacted the code officer, who confirmed he had spoken to the customer but that she may have misunderstood the interaction as he was unaware of any structural damage to the building. He said that he would contact the customer directly to clarify the matter no additional action is required.
